The jump to 4K produces a notable boost in texture and image clarity. The Blu-ray film quality (watched on LCD projector with 100" screen) is stunning - beautifully shot and evoking the old film reel style without losing quality of image (if only other period films could have achieved this - the later Indiana Jones, for example).
